This month, AMDA Headquarters has been conducting a survey targeting AMDA chapters in assessing the COVID-19 situation in each country. The results will be shared on this webpage from time to time.

Lockdown, restrictions and other measures by the government:

All schools, universities, hotels and shops were in quarantine for the last six months. TV and radio stations are broadcasting messages for COVID-19 prevention and treatment. 24 hour ambulance services are available for COVID-19 patients.

Our country’s medical response is good.

Your chapter’s activities against COVID-19 (including future plans):

AMDA Afghanistan, including Japan Afghanistan Friendship Hospital, is actively distributing and sharing messages related to the prevention and treatment. We are also referring suspected COVID-19 patients to government hospitals.
