We would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to AMDA International HQ and to everyone who selflessly heed the call of our people. Through our caring hearts, we know for sure there’s a life out there that felt much better. Appreciation posts and SMS messages from our patients are overwhelming.

A simple act of kindness broadens one life’s frame of reference and is a symbol of respect to value the receiver. It influences the giver more than the receiver and has correlations with enhanced mental, emotional and physical well-being.

In spite of the challenges the world is facing regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, every day, we are reminded the virus has not only caused so much heartbreak and discord, but it has shown us the very best of humanity.

 

Thus, AMDA Philippines lives to its mission to serve our fellow Filipinos and decided to take initiatives to do our part in any way we could. Connecting our patients with Volunteer doctors and other healthcare professionals while at home was our concept through our Free Online Consultation.

Tapping our partner organizations, empowering out community and requesting assistance from AMDA International HQ was also our strategy to look for resources for PPEs of our frontliners. This will ensure that nobody is left behind of the COVID-19 response。
