After an initial test run in the afternoon of the 18th, Mabi Memorial Hospital today began its operation of a mobile clinic vehicle.
Kibi Medical Association and Mabi Memorial Hospital agreed to work together, and AMDA helped arrange the vehicle and dispatch doctors and nurses from AMDA’s medical team. The vehicle was provided by Seto Health Check Clinic in Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture, a member of AMDA’s Platform for the Great Nankai Trough Disaster in Japan.
Starting on July 23rd, Kibi Medical Association and Mabi Memorial Hospital will lead its operation. The mobile clinic will run until July 28th. Residents have long-awaited the restart of the flagship hospital since it was forced to close due to the flood, so we believe this will be a great news of hope.
