Activity Report (June – July 2025): Dynasty Medical Center (Ukraine)

Based in Kharkiv, a northeastern city in Ukraine, the Dynasty Medical Center is one of AMDA’s local partners in the ongoing Ukraine crisis response. Kharkiv is known to be one of the major cities in war zones.

While the medical center specializes in otolaryngology, it continues to accept patients with various medical needs. It also cares for the patients who are often unable to support themselves financially after losing their homes and assets due to this conflict. AMDA has been funding the medical center to help cover some of the expenses for purchasing medicines and other medical consumables.
 
Kharkiv has been constantly under fierce bombardment, with its city center severely destroyed. Although local people have been doing their utmost to maintain their daily lives, they have been forced to live with anguish and fear around the clock. Under such circumstances, medical staff at the Dynasty Medical Center are determined to provide medical services to the community “until the very end.”

According to the Dynasty’s director, AMDA is the only external aid organization supporting the facility. “The fact that AMDA continues to provide aid means so much to all of us remaining in Kharkiv,” the director said during an online meeting with AMDA. “This is because people around the world have been gradually losing interest in Ukraine.”

In light of the lasting situation and hoping that the humanitarian crisis will end as soon as possible, AMDA has decided to extend its support to the Dynasty Medical Center for another year starting this August.
