AMDA Philippines conducted emergency relief in response to the flood disaster in the Philippines’ Luzon region.
 
On 25 July, a relief team from AMDA Philippines provided medical assistance and other support in a high school in the city of Valenzuela in Metro Manila, where evacuees were taking shelter. Due to combined effects of Southwest Monsoon and tropical storms that lasted for a week, some areas in the region, including Manila, were inundated.
 
The aid work was launched after AMDA Philippines chairperson Dr. Erica Tania Davillo coordinated the relief efforts with local authorities and the said evacuation shelter on 24 July. AMDA International also supported the initiative.
