  • AMDA (Headquarters)

    Association of Medical Doctors of Asia, in short AMDA, is an international organization dedicated to realize a peaceful world community through humanitarian efforts in medical health care sector. Founded in Okayama City, Japan, in 1984, AMDA at present is a registered NPO of Okayama Prefecture and a headquarters of the entire AMDA Group including AMDA International comprised of 30 chapters and 47 collaborating partners around the world. It has been gratned special consultative status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council since 1995 and was upgraded to generlal status in 2006.

    AMDA-MINDS (AMDA Multisectoral and Integrated Development Services) is a non-governmental organization having its origin in the Office of Project Operations and Community Services of the Association of Medical Doctors of Asia (AMDA). 

  • AMDA International Medical Information Center

    The AMDA International Medical Information Center provides telephone services to foreign residents in Japan in several languages, we introduce medical facilities with staff who speak the patient's language and explain the health care system.

  • AMDA Organization for Global Assistance and Relief

    AMDA firmly recognizes the necessity for competent human resources. Since its establishment in 1984, AMDA has a wide international network and we realize that the establishment of an educational institute would be an effective way to further these global ties.

    AMDA Hyogo has been supporting AMDA Nepal Child Hospital. In 2008, they have published illustrated book in English, Japanese, and Nepali in commemoration of its’ 10th anniversary.

    The AMDA High School Club is a volunteer group founded in the autumn of 1995. As of now, there are approximately sixteen members, all high school students. Although they go to different schools, they all work together in the club as one.
    They have been supporting AMDA’s projects in various ways such as street fundraising, participating in local events, performing on television and the radio, and etc.
